These Terms govern your use of Fanome. By using Fanome, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Fanome is

Fanome is a football fan identity and football history experience. It combines information you provide, answers to Fanome questions, a scoring model and historical football data to create a personalised result. Fanome is designed primarily for entertainment, personal interest and football discussion. It is not a psychological assessment.

2. Your Fanome result

Your result is generated from the information you provide, your answers, the scoring model in use at the time and available historical football data. Fanome archetypes and scores are interpretations of football-fan behaviour and are not statements of objective fact about your personality. There is no correct or superior type of supporter.

3. Information you provide

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter. You must not deliberately provide unlawful or abusive content or attempt to interfere with Fanome's operation.

4. Football data

Football history can be complex. Competitions change names and structures. Clubs may change identity, merge, reform or move between competitions. Historical sources can occasionally disagree. We take reasonable care but cannot guarantee that every historical fact or calculation will always be complete or error-free.

5. Intellectual property

Fanome branding, scoring methodology, designs, original written content and software may be protected by intellectual property rights. You may download and share your own result for personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce substantial parts of Fanome, extract data at scale, reverse engineer the scoring system commercially, present Fanome content as your own, or disrupt the service.

6. Independent status

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Fanome is not affiliated with, licensed by, sponsored by or endorsed by any football organisation.

7. Availability and changes

We may update Fanome, add or remove features, amend scoring models, correct data or temporarily suspend parts of the service. Previously saved results may continue to reflect the scoring model originally used.

8. Misuse

You must not break the law, attempt unauthorised access, compromise security, introduce malicious code, interfere with other users, scrape or overload the service, or impersonate Fanome or another person.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. Subject to those rights, Fanome is provided for entertainment and informational purposes on an “as available” basis.

Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Notice. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookies Notice.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Fanome develops or where legal or regulatory requirements change. The latest version will always be available here.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory rights under the law where you live.
